Mini Scrapbook Flip Book DIY
A scrapbook, but mini… is there anything cuter? I don’t think so! Check out how I made this stinkin’ cute mini scrapbook flip book with my Persnickety Box photos. The best thing you can do for the photos on your phone is to turn them into something you can hold in your hands and flip through over and over again.
A few weeks ago, after a family vacation that left us all sandy, exhausted from fun, smiling, and on a sugar high, I realized those photos deserved more than just a spot in my phone gallery. So I opened the Persnickety Box app, swiped through my favorites, and ordered a batch of 30 prints straight from my phone (literally the easiest thing ever). A few days later, those memories showed up at my door, and I got to work turning them into a flip book that’s now one of my favorite keepsakes of this summer!

HOW I MADE MY SCRAPBOOK-STYLE FLIP BOOK, STEP BY STEP:
1. Swipe & Print with Persnickety Box
Start by opening the Persnickety Box app and selecting 30 of your favorite photos. They’ll arrive beautifully printed on archival paper, perfect for scrapbooking and keepsakes. They are so high-quality that they don’t need a plastic cover to protect them, which makes them perfect for this project!
2. Cut & Fold Your Paper
This paper pack is what inspired it all! I saw it and instantly knew I needed a special project to use it for. This 12x12” paper pack is from Echo Park Paper Co and I found it on Amazon. Cut it into 4.5" x 11" strips. Fold each strip in half to create the pages for your flip book.
3. Attach Your Photos
Using a glue tape runner or glue, attach one photo to each page, making sure the paper’s crease at the bottom. Make sure to leave enough space at the top of each page for hole punching.
4. Punch Holes and Tie it Together
Punch two holes at the top of every folded page. Take your time here to make sure all the holes line up evenly. I used some cute ribbon I had on hand, but you can also use string, yarn, or binder rings to secure the book. Choose whatever matches your vibe.
5. Decorate Your Heart Out
This is the fun part! I grabbed some fun ephemera from Amazon and added stickers, embossed sticker labels and handwritten notes. These foam dots were also great to play with in creating dimension and levels. Let your creativity run wild!
